First round
Everything you need to know about setup, group size and starting directly on one device.
How many people can play?
Bottle Trouble supports 2 to 8 adults on one shared iPhone or iPad.
Which round styles are available?
Quick Trouble includes 16 cards, Classic Trouble 36 cards and Chaos Board 49 cards.
What is the Trouble Mix?
The Trouble Mix determines which card moments and mini-challenges shape your round. Your settings feed into the dynamic deck composition.
Do we need an account?
No. There is no user account, cloud profile or online lobby. Display names and options are stored locally on the device.
Gameplay
Trouble Teams, the Meter, Light Mode and the small details that keep your round together.
How are Trouble Teams assigned?
New players automatically receive the currently least-used team. Existing assignments stay fixed throughout the round.
What does the Trouble Meter show?
It tracks round progress from warm-up to finale and shows the current card status.
How does Light Mode work?
Light Mode caps penalties at one point per player per card and includes lucky cards in the mix.
How do I correct penalty points?
Tap the score chip to add one penalty point and briefly reveal an undo action. Press and hold a player row to open score correction.
Can I skip a challenge?
Yes. No always means no. You can skip challenges without penalty points or having to explain yourself.
Which mini-challenges are included?
They include Quick Vote, Country Finder, Rhyme Trouble, Tongue Trouble, Past Trouble, Brain Trouble, Grid Trouble and Brand Trouble.
Purchases & Pro
Purchases are handled securely by Apple. Bottle Trouble does not manage payment details and shows prices directly from the App Store.
What does Bottle Trouble Pro unlock?
Pro removes the ad breaks at halftime and shortly before the final card. Available offers and prices are loaded from the App Store in the Pro area.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open the Pro area in Bottle Trouble and tap Restore Purchases. StoreKit checks the purchases linked to your Apple ID again.
Is Lifetime Pro a subscription?
No. Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. If you still hold a previously offered time-limited entitlement, manage it through your Apple Account.
Who handles refunds?
Refund requests and billing questions are handled by Apple or the App Store.

Which devices are supported?
Bottle Trouble is a native app for iPhone and iPad. The final minimum iOS or iPadOS version is listed in the App Store.
Does the app need internet access?
The shared game runs locally. A connection may be required for ad consent, ad delivery, prices, purchases and purchase restoration.
What should I try if something goes wrong?
Close and reopen the app, make sure iOS or iPadOS is up to date and, for purchase issues, check your internet connection and Apple ID.
Which languages does the app support?
German and English. Your selection is stored locally on the device.

No pressure is part of the rules.
Bottle Trouble is a penalty-point party game for adults aged 18 and over. Play in a way that everyone feels comfortable.
- The fewest penalty points wins; tied scores share the rank.
- Every challenge can be skipped without explanation.
- Light Mode reduces the intensity.
- Penalty points are only a game score.
- If anyone feels unwell, stop the round immediately.
